The Most Important Thing We Do?

January 6, 2010

Is communicating.

I was talking with a chap that provides customer satisfaction training to a particular industry. I don’t think that the industry type matters, it works for most of our businesses.

He explained to this customer that;

you are not in the sales and service business, you are in the communication business

And he is right.

People will forgive much if you are up front and honest in your communications with them.

And as Chuck Musciano states;

Communication is the most important thing we do; unfortunately, there isn’t an app for that.
